COR-Eye Technology

Built into the clubface of each iron, the COR-Eye technology included in the GMax series improves distance by increasing ball speed up to 3mph higher than previous PING models. The sole, face, and top rail all work in unison to give you a great shot with great sound and feel; the face flexing occurring on impact via the Hyper 17-4 alloy 40 percent stronger yet thin face acts like a diving board and launches your ball up to 3mph faster and in a straight path for better accuracy.

Improved Sole Design

The wider sole featured on the GMax Graphite Iron set is comprised of a more distinct leading edge, upgraded trailing edge relief, and advanced bounce, giving this iron set better control through green surfaces. Working together, the sole regulates force to give your ball a less harsh landing while maintaining speed and distance.

Enhanced MOI

The CTP included within the cavity design gives more consistency with every shot. Connected to the sole of each GMax Graphite iron, the CTP moves the center of gravity lower and to the rear, contributing to a longer MOI, giving your shot more forgiveness on impact.

Graphite Shaft Option

The graphite GMax iron set comes with a CFS Graphite shaft for a lighter feel and more flex in your shots. The shaft also has an increased offset from the longer blade lengths of the irons.
