Garmin Approach S40 GPS

I have played 15 rounds since I purchased the S40 from Golfballs.com. I never wore a watch at all until I got my S40. First hole wearing the S40 I could tell it was there but I think that was more about me never having a watch before now it's part of the gear and I feel naked without it. When I reached the first green and saw that it had tracked all of my shots with the auto shot tracking function I was impressed. (except for chips and puts more on that later). The auto shot tracking is very accurate I've only had to adjust my shots after a round a couple times. As for the info the S40 gives you. Distances I found were very accurate and you get layup distances, dogleg and hazard I thought I would miss the hole layout but found the S40 gives me enough info to play a hole. In the event there was a blind shot on a hole I just look at the Garmin golf app on my phone then get the distances with my watch I have only had to do this a couple times because the watch is usually enough. The screen is very easy to see and easy to use. Now for the only reason I didn't give five stars. If I want to track chips and putts then you have to purchase the CT sensors to put in the end of the clubs and for the price of the watch I think Garmin should include the three sensor pack with the watch not charge more for a bundle. In the end I'm very happy with the S40 and would buy another Garmin product.
