By combining a completely redesigned FastLayer Core with our aerodynamic-boosting 338 Speed Dimple pattern and a soft, thin cover, ULTISPEED outperforms virtually every expectation of a distance-focused golf ball.
- ULTISPEED’s FastLayer Core was meticulously developed over the past decade using new materials. This model minimizes the differences in hardness typically found in cores of other distance ball offerings, but still uses our signature soft-to-firm approach. With a more subtle soft-to-firm transition, FastLayer enhances speed off the clubface to give ULTISPEED extreme distance on every swing.
- The 338 Speed Dimples on ULTISPEED improve overall aerodynamics for better flight performance. A lower drag coefficient helps the ball cut through the air with less resistance for a more penetrating launch and straighter flight. A higher lift coefficient allows the ball to stay airborne longer for maximum distance.

Good flight
The sound and feel off the driver face is solid, but didn't see any difference in distance on solid strikes. They also don't jump off the putter face like a urethane cover. Spin on slice or hooks seemed to be less than normal. Tested with a 2 handicap and he confirmed my points as well. Both mid swing speeds.
