Bad skin great performnce
Ball feels really good off the clubs. Had my best round as far as my wedge distance, spin, and control. Ball had very good spin and bite on the greens. Had very good piercing flight with my irons and driver too. Performance was amazing. However, like my title says, the skin/cover is very poor. After a couple holes and a few wedge shots, the skin had horribly deep gouges and cuts. I’ve used cheaper balls like superhot/fast, supersofts, Srixon softs, maxfli, volkis, etc., that held up a full round better than a few holes with the pro S and X. Might explain their sub $50 price still compared to the chrome tour, tp5, and Pro V1s.
Still a fantastic ball. If you tend to lose a ball every few holes then definitely check these out over the top tier balls mentioned above. Save a few bucks as it’s time for a new ball after a few holes anyways.

Nice golf ball
