Experienced golfers can now have advanced performance with a soft feel from Wilson Staff’s Duo Soft Spin Golf Balls. These low compression golf balls create less spin on drives and churn out more spin on higher lofted clubs and wedges.

15%-20% more spin is generated on approach shots than the Duo Soft to offer aspirational golfers more greenside control. For long distance with a soft feel, the ball has a 40 compression rating which is the lowest of competitive premium 3-piece surlyn golf balls.

Wilson Staff Duo Soft Spin Construction

To produce a great feel while offering long distances off the tee, a Subzero Compression Core is used to reduce spin to make balls fly straighter and farther while providing a soft feel. To offer you more greenside control on approach shots, these soft golf balls use a HPF Mantle and soft Ionomer Cover to create more spin on higher lofted clubs and wedges. To increase trajectory and spin, Wilson Staff modified the 302 shallow dimple pattern that is used on the Duo Soft.

    decided to give these a try. normally play pro v1x or b330s. have played 2 rounds with these and find the performance very similar.

    Duo Soft is confusing when differentiating between the ball line. I am familiar with these balls so it wasn't difficult to figure out what I was buying. It can be a problem for new users.

    The balls performed very well in both windy conditions and minimal wind 5 -10 mph I bought these balls for their softness especially in chipping and putting. There was minimal deflection when putting long distances which really helps me a lot. I believe they are a fair value which is a real plus to a Senior on a fixed income.
