The Srixon Z-star XV contains a new FastLayer Core designed to fully utilize players head speeds for long distance. By using an extensive system of layers, the core is softer in the center and firm towards the outside. This allows maximum compression without sacrificing a high-quality soft feel.For improved spin and control, the Z-Star XV uses Srixon’s updated Spin Skin with a unique urethane coating that drastically increases flexibility to allow for higher interaction with club grooves to provide stopping power on the green. For a low drag and high lift ball flight, the Z-Star XV’s 338 Speed Dimple pattern helps ensures shots fly straight even during higher wind.

Reasonably Priced for a Top-Level Ball
Srixon Z Star and Z Star XV perform as well as top balls such as Pro V1, TP5, etc. Getting 2 dozen for the price of one is a steal for the quality of ball you are getting.

Nice option
A lot of balls out there, very specific towards your handicap, etc. These are a good option for those higher handicaps who want the performance when they are "in the zone"... I found them good off the tee, but didn't get the spin on the green that I get from other options.

this is as good a ball that is available, the recent sale price on these was the best deal i have seen on a golf ball in years, the ball is long, good in the wind, and has excellent spin control

My preferred ball
Consider the price and the quality of srixon balls, and you just have to give them a shot. I have played pro V’s for years. The last few I have been playing Srixon and love them. Save the money, and still love your game. I prefer a soft feel ball around the green, and I don’t sacrifice distance or control off the tee with these balls. Pleasant Surprise
This Srixon has great feel and impressive distance off the driver. Irons launch nice and the ball spins well. Wonderful feel around the greens. I have played Pro V1x for the past three years, and decided to give these a shot. Glad I did.
