Golfballs.com Expert Description

Mizuno has created a new tour-category premium golf ball with the RB Tour. The Mizuno RB Tour features 4-layer construction designed to give golfers professional level performance through the air.

Compared to the similar RB Tour X, the standard Tour uses a lower compression rating (93) and slightly lower spin for golfers with a more positive attack angle. The urethane cover helps produce a soft feel around the green and workable spin in short game play. New from Mizuno, the RB Tour series features the advanced C-Dimple that uses a conical shape to maintain lift longer for penetrating distance off the tee.

Features of the Mizuno RB Tour Golf Balls:

  • 4-piece tour golf ball
  • Mid-High compression rating at 93
  • Urethane cover for a soft feel and greenside spin
  • Mizuno’s 330 C-Dimples maximize aerodynamics
  • Lower compression and spin compared to RB Tour X
  • Avg Rating: 3.5 out of 5

Have played 3 rounds using these balls. They were recommended to me as being longer off the tee than any ball he had ever used.I have to say I agree. Wont say they are better than the Pro V but they are definitely longer with out loss of feel around the greens. If you like me have lost some distance due to maturity give them a try.

Nice Ball...If you can avoid trees

Okay, these balls play well out of the box, and have great feel and distance. Spin is also very nice...pretty much an amazing ball. UNTIL, I found out what most people are talking about with these balls cracking. I have played 3 different balls, and EVERYONE has cracked once I caught a tree off the tee or on a punch out. I wish I could post pictures, you could see the ball looks new, with a huge crack in the side from hitting a tree. I haven’t caught a cart path, but I am guessing this would split the ball in half. If Mizuno can fix this cracking issue they have, this would be a great ball. Definitely not a gamer with this serious issue

Like Mizuno irons - Try the RB Tour ball

Having played Mizuno irons for more than two decades I was curious when they announced they'd be entering the US market with a golf ball. Like their irons, exaxtly as advertised. Mid trajectory (i.e. boring flight), low spin off driver (i.e. it goes miles), and high spin around the green (i.e. one bounce, stop). Nice feel off putter. My new ball. Especially after hitting my first 286 yard drive in years. That may not seem like anything, but I'm almost 66.
