If you know TaylorMade, then you know how legendary the original V Steel™ fairway wood was. Now you can find that updated technology in the SIM2 MAX Hybrid. The V Steel material on the sole minimizes turf interaction while still maintaining low CG properties for maximum forgiveness. A depressed heel and toe minimize sole area, adding to V Steel's versatility as a great option for fairway shots and approach play from difficult lies.
C300 Steel Twist Face
Based on a solid forged construction, the Max Rescue features a multi-material C300 hyper steel body and sole that delivers high strength and lightweight for increased forgiveness, especially on shots mis-hit closer to the ground. Its Twist Face® technology addresses mis-hit issues head-on by reworking its stepped face profile to boost ball speed on off-center hits to maximize distance.
Thru-Slot Speed Pocket
The Thru-Slot Speed Pocket™, TaylorMade's most significant technology advancement in iron design in nearly 20 years. It provides increased face flexibility, preservation of ball speed and distance, especially on low face strikes.
