** BUYER BEWARE **
I bought Wilson Staff balls here because of the Buy 2 get 1 free deal. I use a line to mark the ball and was putting a sharpie on. I saw I can add a line that is printed on at no cost. So far were doing great.
The balls arrived the line is NOT ON CENTER OF THE GOLF BALL. Not just a little bit. Very very noticeable. I lined up on putting mat and rather than line splitting 50/50, it was obvious. Was closer to 60/40. Not only was this very distracting, it was inconsistent through all the balls.
I reached out and was told that there would be some human error involved with this process and they would like to make it right. Again, were doing good still. I SPECIFICALLY ASKED IF THIS WAS PART OF THE PROCESS? Ie was this mechanical with the printing and they could not get it on the center. The reply I got was reassuring, saying something to the effect that they would send out a new order and it would be INSPECTED / REVIEWED BY A MANAGER PRIOR TO SHIPPING OUT.
So far in the story, Im annoyed but hey mistakes happen and they wanted to do right.
Next, I get an email that the balls are actually out of stock.... And they suggested to send a different model. I pushed back and specifically wanted the Staff Model, not the X.
Then, the next day, they have enough balls to fulfill the order. Again I confirm this will be inspected and again assured that the line on the ball would be on the "exact" center.
They did right and sent out the balls quickly and replacement order with free shipping.
Again, annoyed but in my head they had corrected with the new order.
THE LINE WAS NOT ON THE CENTER OF THE BALL. AGAIN. AFTER ASKING AND GOLFBALLS.COM CONFIRMING MULTIPLE TIMES THAT IT WOULD BE. THAT A MANAGER "INSPECTED" THE ORDER BEFORE GOING OUT. I went through 2 boxes and was amazed that it was just as bad as the first order.
I feel like I asked and Golfballs.com confirmed the specs ONLY TO GET IT WRONG AGAIN.
I ORDERED NEW BALLS AT PGA SUPERSTORE, PICKED UP THE NEXT DAY AND MOVED ON.
