better than you think

I received a 6-pack of these balls from a senior fiend of mine. I love them. To prove a feeling I had, I pulled out a Pro V1 and drove it as well as the sponge bob. I swung equally well; the Pro V1 went 4-5 feet further than the bob. I'm a 16 handicap 69 year old, and still am very flexible and hit it quite well. Can't beat the bob.

I got these for my grand daughter, age 3.7 years old, a fan of SpongeBob. She knew right away who the face was and I have her practicing her putting with a Jr. putter.

Hole-in-One with Sponge Bob!
7/10/2010
My son David, age 9, used a Sponge Bob golf ball on Monday, July 5th and made his first hole-in-one on the 2nd hole at Georgetown Country Club in Ann Arbor, Michigan! I HIGHLY recommend this ball! The cool thing is that David said he was going to "hit Sponge Bob smack in the face" and he did! The ball went flying though the air, bounced onece on the fairway and onto the green. The ball rolled in the hole! ACE!

My grand daughter had a Patrick Star golf ball and lost it playing with her dad. She is heart broken. Do you have any idea where I can find a replacement? It was originally purchased at Universal Studios and they don't have them any more.

Perhaps a Universal store or online store? We don't have access to those balls as they are made specifically for Universal. Thanks.

Great question. The majority of golfers will play a slice so you are not alone with this issue. Typically golfers will open their club face at impact as well as "cut across" the ball trying to help get the ball airborne. The only hope you have at this point is more practice!

Many slicers have their right thumb "behind" the shaft. This grip makes the right hand dominant and promotes an open clubface that cuts across the ball at impact. That clockwise rotation (spin) creates a slice. Letting the right thumb rest on the left side of the shaft makes the left hand stronger and squares the clubface at impact.

I'm not the best golfer in the world, but one tip I was told about that I like is to push with your right hand as much as you are pulling with left, just a thought. Definitely worth a try in my opinion.
