Titleist Prior Generation Pro V1 Golf Balls

Unless you are on tour or just like playing with the moist expensive equipment to Impress your friends, then this is the best buy at the moment. I challenge anyone who is not a plus handicap to notice the difference in the next generation ball. I like these.

My go to golf ball is the ProV1. I have used all the others, but I come back to Titleist when I want a special round.

The "Gold Standard" of golf balls is what I call this product and when I can get them at these prices even though they may be Prior Generation I jump at the chance. My jumping resulted in having the ball I usually don't buy but love to play.

Finally got through last year's supply of golf balls (scattered to the woods and waters of Maine) and got to try the latest version of the Pro V1. The most remarkable improvement is its stability in the wind. Last week I played in very blustery conditions (wind gusts to approx. 30 mph). The ball was unbelieveably stable in crosswinds! I consistently overcompensated for the effect of cross breezes on the front nine, and ended up essentially in the area at which I had aimed. On the back nine I ignored any crosswinds and aimed directly at my target. The Pro V1 stayed on course. Amazing!
