Callaway Golf CXB Golf Balls

I gave up golf 8 years ago and just started back. Current handicap 14. I have played to a 10 handicap. I like cost effective golf balls that have a soft feel. I am willing to give up distance for feel. I found a HX HOT ball while playing and like how long I hit it off the tee. I started looking at the Callaway line and found that walmart has several balls the CXB fits everything I am looking for in a golf ball. My first ball lasted 27 holes with no real damage. This ball is truly a nice ball and a great value for the money. I used them in a best ball yesterday and obtain great traction on the green. I play a round today with 1 ball and it's provided great distance and spin on the greens. There were on a few minor marks on the ball after hitting a few trees throughout the round. It was still playable unlike the HX Tour 56. I hit one tree and it's almost done. Double digit handicap golfers should definetly play the CXB if you want control for a great value.

these golf balls are very good and I like them because they are very accurate but I can't get the distance that I can get with the HX HOT

i love this ball because it is very soft and it is very accurete and the first time i hit it it felt great even though this ball is one of the old ones it is also one of the best golf balls out there today

I saw these golf balls at a local retail store in San Antonio and was like WOW this ball sounds just what I am looking for and a dozen was only $19.95. I bought the CXB and when I got home to open them I was really impressed on how the balls were so soft for a 2-piece ball. First time I hit them was in a local tournament and I hit the ball long and straight on the first hole. I was also impressed on how durable these balls are. So you're wondering what this CXR and CXB are...CX RED and CX BLUE...there is also a CX3.HOT...it's a 3 piece. the only difference is that they're not the HEX! I got these for Christmas, the blue AND the red...They are great! I was surprised! I thought they were cheapies because I had seen them at a store that usually never carried any Callaway product. I played them and started by using them on holes with water hazzards...you know, just in case...Here is the truth! I played one CXB ball from the 3rd to the 18th. THE SAME BALL! It did have a couple of scuffs by the end, but still played great. Now, I normally buy HX HOT or BIG BERTHA RED, if the HX TOUR's are on sale I'll buy them, but these balls are not bad at all!.
