Volvik Prior Generation Vivid XT Matte Orange Golf Balls

No one ball fits all players. One of countless reasons you see so many brands on the market. Having played Volvik for many years this product IMO is top shelf. Have used many brands just as good, some worse. The compression, flight, and success around the green work very well. The visibility (orange) is outstanding. Price point should be better for example (Costco Kirkland). Different clubs, swing speed and setup make world of difference for us amateurs. Don't believe what the company says about these balls. The are not just firm, they are like rocks. They should be shot for saying these are "tour level" balls. Very similar to the very old TopFlight balls we called Top Rocks. The mat cover is a dirt magnate on the white balls and you must clean every time you legally can. Distance is nothing like tour caliber balls and at least 10-15 yards shorter on drives and green stopping power is terrible compared to urethane covered balls. Only 1 bright spot is you can see them better then any other ball I've played.
