Outstanding Golf Ball
I had tried the Bridgestone B330 RX ball several years ago after finding one during a round and hitting drives about 20 yards farther than my norm. Bought a dozen after that, but didn't notice a huge benefit, so I saved some $ going with decent but cheaper balls.
For the last three years, I play very often, and my club is a difficult track. I've been playing Chrome Soft or Hex Soft for a couple of years. Again, found a B330 RX and decided to finish a round with it. Just much more consistent flight off driver and irons. It dawned on me that I was hitting shots the same or about 10 yards beyond my norm, but this was also in cold play -- about 40-45 degrees.
Ordered the 3-for-2 deal, and I've only played with one of the 36 balls so far. I'm sure part of this is just a bizarre coincidence, but I've played about 120 holes of "winter" golf with this one ball. That's with leaves all over the place and ability to compress the ball down, due to colder temps. I can't believe how well I hit this ball, especially with driver. My norm is to play 36 holes max before a ball is either lost or too worn. I've shot two rounds in the 70s and scored 39 three times in nine-hole rounds with this ONE ball! Decided to retire it and marked it, "MARATHON BALL -- USED FOR +/- 120 HOLES 11/16-12/16"
Not sure why, but this Bridgestone model seems ideally suited for my swing and game.
