Golfballs.com Expert Description
For a fast and smooth roll, better feel, and improved stability, there’s the PING Vault Blade Putters, inspired by brand’s own Gold Putter Vault. Featuring two clubs in unique blade shapes – the Anser 2 and Voss – each putter comes in either a platinum or slate finish.
The Anser 2
Engineered from 303 stainless steel forged billets, the Anser 2 delivers the same tour-proven results as this head shape demonstrates in other lines. It features a 350-gram head, 35-inch standard shaft length that can be adjusted between 31- and 38-inches, and a lie angle range of 4-degrees either way. The Anser 2 head shape is also ideal for slight arc stroke styles.
Also made from 303 stainless steel forged billets, the Voss utilizes sloped heel and toe weights for better precision as well as a ball-width cavity for easier shot setup. It includes a 350-gram head, an adjustable 35-inch standard shaft length that can shorten to 31- and lengthen to 38-inches, and a lie angle range of 4-degrees either way. The Voss blade shape is also ideal for slight arc stroke types.
Pistol 62 Grip
The blade putters feature a 68-gram PING Pistol 62 grip that contours to better fit in the palm and fingertips of the average player, allowing for more even grip pressure. The grip itself is a soft yet tacky polymer that adds another layer of comfort and secures the hand placement.
Each club in the Vault line incorporates a True-Roll face of varying thickness to boost ball speed on mishits.
Features of the PING Vault Blade Putters:
- Both the Anser 2 and the Voss are available in two finishes: platinum or slate
- 68-gram PING Pistol 62 grip molds to the natural shape of the hand to produce a more even pressured grip
- 303 stainless steel forged bodies and True-Roll face for more ball speed
- Voss is easier to set up shots and uses heel-toe weights for better precision
- Anser 2 head shape delivers same results as its siblings in other lines
