Golfballs.com Expert Description
Crave more distance but don’t want to sacrifice a soft feel and greenside control? The Wilson Staff Duo Golf Balls generate a low spin off the driver for serious length off the tee, but have a revolutionary 29-compression for an outstanding soft feel. Each feature of the two-piece construction works to bring enhanced performance to this golf ball.
Exceptionally Soft and Long
Coming in at an impressive 29-compression, the Duo is the softest golf ball on the market. A large mostly rubber core gives this ball the supple feel for better control around the green, allowing you to more precisely approach the pin. The Duo also has a high C.O.R. that yields faster ball speeds off the driver and long irons, providing you with the distance your game needs.
The rubber core and Ionomer cover work together to generate less spin off shots from the tee, allowing for more accurate plays. The cover creates a higher lift on long shots, while a seamless 302 dimple design further aids in consistency of the ball’s trajectory.
Features of the Wilson Staff Duo Golf Balls:
- 29-compression for the softest ball yet
- Two-piece construction of enlarged rubber core and ionomer cover
- Less driver spin, higher lift, and 302 dimple design for more consistent and accurate shots
- High C.O.R. for faster ball velocities
User Ratings & Reviews
My wife plays these balls and is very happy with them. Only problem is they find their way into the woods so she has to keep buying more. However, she keeps buying the Duo's!

My review only pertains to the lettering on the personalized golf balls which is almost too small to read. What is the purpose of putting your name on a ball if you can't read it.

At under $ 20/dozen, there is no other ball that flies or spins into the green like this ball. This is just a small step off a Pro V1x
IMHO; at 40% of the cost. I load up 10-12 dozen at a time which last a few years. No guilt in losing a ball on a adventurous shot at < $ 20 per dozen. Few of us are really good enough to spend $ 48-50/dozen for balls; admit it to yourselves.

I like the whole Wilson Duo series of balls. Bought 2 dozen logo over run Duo balls for the price of 1 dozen at the golf stores. No logos or blemishes on any of them. Great deal.

I like the ball. My swing speed is less than 80 and the ball has a soft feel and launches high off my irons. The ball is a good value.
