Golfballs.com Expert Description

Every tour pro on earth swears by urethane golf balls, it's the industry standard. There are plenty of expensive tour balls out there for golfers who want that. But how about those who want more performance, for less? That’s why we created Tour Response. To bring you tour performance without the tour price tag. More spin, with less spend.

  • A soft, cast urethane cover allows the grooves of the wedge to better grip the golf ball for increased green-side spin. A crosslinking chemical reaction forms the urethane material, which creates an irreversible link for improved shear resistance and greater durability.
  • A core made from soft flexible materials with increased elastic components delivers better and softer feel with an ultra-low 40 compression.
  • A firmer second layer surrounds the soft inner core and allows for an explosive transfer of energy and increased ball speeds.
  • 3-layer construction

    Taylor Made Tour Response review
    Review 4 Stars
Received these as a gift originally. Normally play a Titleist Tour Soft with the ID align. Picked up some additional yardage with the TM and the cover held up better than the Titleist. Bought a box to put them through their paces and ultimately decided to make the change. Was disappointed with the quality of the personalization on the last order. Most of the line came off my ball before I reached the turn. That is unusual but I'm going to give them a chance and hope this was just a bad batch of paint

I ordered personnalized balls thinking that shipping was free, as mentionned in the order web page ... but it was not the case. After I did received the balls, I got an invoice of more than $30 (canadian) for custom charges! This custom bill increase my order price by 50%. Really deceiving ...

As a 'seasoned' player I find the Tour Response a reliable ball for my 'game'. The fact it was discounted because of the logo (which also helps with identification) made the purchase a no-brainer.

    Tour Response vs TP5
    Review 4 Stars
Wanted to see how this ball reacted versus the TP5 which I normally play. Figured if I can save a few bucks and still get performance, why not. Well, the ball performed nearly as well as the TP5 (when I performed as I’m supposed to, lol). The cover seemed to scuff a little easier and I don’t know why that would be since they are both supposed to have the same cover. The feel was comparable to the TP5 and reaction on the greens seemed similar. Overall, it may be worth the change.

Thanks for your question. TM doesn't offer custom numbers so we can't pull that one off. Regarding the shamrock use our photo ball section to upload any version you can find. That would be the easiest way.

In the description, you list the balls at a 40 compression yet the box lists the compression at 70. I assume the box is correct and your description is incorrect.

The core itself is 40 compression. here is a link to the ball on Taylor Made's site listing the specs. https://www.taylormadegolf.com/Tour-Response-Golf-Balls/DW-WZ925.html?lang=en_US&dwvar_DW-WZ925_color=M71752&cgid=tour-response-golf-balls#lang=en_US&start=1&

witch TM response ball is best for slower seniors with mid handicap
    08/06/2020 7:07 PM
Hello, The Tour Response will be the better option for someone seeking greenside control while the Soft Response will not provide the same level of stopping power into and around the greens. Both balls are pretty soft with very low compression cores. You will not sacrifice feel with either ball. Thank You.
