Feel them while you walk and difficult to remove.

The spikes were noticable as I walked. They added pressure points at the location of insertion. They were also very difficult to remove from my ECCO shoes. I heard good things about them but am going back to my Pulsar spikes.

hi, thanks for the question. Tri-lok spikes should be easily removed with one twist of the spike wrench. Your spikes may have gotten stuck somehow, but you may try purchasing a new spike wrench. -Parker

I just bought a new pair of Nike shoes with the gray and black Champ Scorpion Tri-Lok spikes and before even wearing them I have the same problem using several wrenches including the Softspikes handle and ratchet style wrench (in fact that wrench doesn't even fit the spike holes!). Other cheap wrenches will work but I've torn on spike up trying to remove it. What got me trying to remove one was just wanted to buy more spikes to fit the shoes for future use. I'm taking the shoes back to Golfsm

If new, you have to press down into the sole and twist like a prescription bottle. I tried getting them out from a pair of worn spikes, and you have to get all the dirt and sand out of the way, then they twist. Be careful.
