Product Description
PING 50th Anniversary Zing Putter - For golfers preferring the performance of a steel face with an insert feel, the Karsten Series meets the criteria. An elastomer insert in the cavity provides enhanced feel while maintaining the solid response of a steel-faced putter. Weight savings from the new cavity shapes were redistributed to the perimeter to increase each putter's moment-of-inertia for added forgiveness. The Karsten Series 50th Anniversary Zing Putter is a blade putter with a short hosel and a bronze finish.

Felt like the good old days to play with this manganese bronze zing putter. Ping putters are great, and this 50th anniversary zing is no exception. Given the hardness of the newer balls these days, though, the feel is not quite as good as I remember but still ok. I may not always play with it, but I'll always keep it.

Frequently asked questions about
I love my Ping 50th Zing putter, but the feel is not as good as I remember from the old days of Ping's manganese bronze putters. Is this because the balls are harder these days?

The reason for the feel difference is becuase the bronze used in the older putter was much softer than the gold colored stainless steel used in the newer model putter.
