Hi, thanks for the question. If you purchase any new, current product that the manufacturer can still build, then there will be no extra cost. If it is an older model club that we will have to send off to get lengthened, there will be an additional charge. -Parker

I still play the RCH96 Big Bertha irons. I am a62 yr old and shoot in the 80s. I like the big bertha look and am considering the 2008 Big Bertha with "i" irons (red inset). Does this sound l

John, the new "I"-Brids are definately improved upon your old set. The long irons are hybrid based making them considerably easier to hit and the weighting of the new cavity backs are positioned to be much more forgiving vs you old irons as well so there is no doubt that you will have more success hitting the new sticks.

Joe, great question. The iron set you currently play is keeping you from lowering your scores even further. All of the Callaway sets are good options. The X-22 sets may be a little higher than the price you are looking for if you want a brand new set. If you experience pain in those areas graphite may help as it reduces the amount of vibration at impact. The X-18R set is an excellent set for your handicap level and budget however you will only get steel shafts as that is all that is offered. The

unfortunately this iron set cannot be ordered with custom specs as it has been discontinued by the manufacturer. The New Big Bertha Diablo Edge irons will be taking their place and will be available to have custom built within the coming months.

Thank you for your inquiry. The only missing information is your height. If you can give me your height in inches I can inform you of which lie/length combo would suit you best. Thanks. Andy.

I recently acquired a new set of Big Bertha irons the 3, 4, 5 irons are I-Brid and the rest, 6-sw, are regular irons. Where can i obtain a set of head covers for these?
Thank You

Unfortunately Callaway does not make iron covers for the I-Brid sets. The closest option I would have avaialble are the oversize neoprene covers which in all honesty would most likely not fit your I-Brids. You may be able to use a generic hybrid cover to fit your 3,4 & 5 irons.

I keep reading about length of shaft, measuring wrist to floor, I am short, so what does this measurement tell me and how do I apply it to shaft length

Thank you for your question in regard to shaft lengths. The measurement from wrist to floor will determine which length you will need your shaft set at. Typically, shorter golfer will need their irons/woods cut down in order to maximize proper impact. Please determine the length of your arm from wrist to floor from a standing upright position with your arms at your side and I can determine the optimal length for you.

Also your wrist to floor measurement will determine what lie angle you need. I'm 5'3" and I needed my clubs flattened 3 degrees from standard! Look into it!

Thank you for your inquiry. Typically guys your height will need added length to the shaft with an upright lie angle. Your arm length from wrist to floor will give a better idea as to how much additional length is needed. The majority of golfers in your height range would benefit from a 1/2" extended shaft and a 2 degree upright lie angle. The custom iron set will definately improve your ball striking ability and your consistency in your iron play. Please give us a call if you have further quest

Wondering what uniflex shaft is comparable to. I currently have stiff flex shafts and would like to maintain.

Thanks for your question.
A UniFlex shaft falls inbetween a stiff and regular but most likely is closer to a regular flex.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks,
Johnny
