I currently use the Speed fairway woods and thought of upgrading to the S9. How do the two compare and is it worth the money to upgrade.
btw I bought the S9 Driver and love it! I have used the Speed Driver for several years and loved it too, but the S9 has more control, height and distance. I can't shape my shot as easily, but am pleased.

The S9 is the new version of the Cobra SS so workability should be quite comparable. The newer version is a little easier to hit and get off of the ground. It also comes stock with a similer Aldila shaft as its predecessor.

Thank you for your question.
The S9-1 FW's above are not the offset version.
I hope this helps and please let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks,

Great Question.
The answer is both! They go hand in hand together. That's why so many companies taught High Launch clubs or balls. More carry, etc.....More height should translate into more distance.
I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Play Well,
