Great Value-Great Price-and a great sound of the tee
2/12/2007
Thanks to Golfballs.com making this club available at a price that ANY true golfer can afford, delivery was as smooth as what the club itself looks like. 9 degree's, Reg. shaft and using it to hit the new Wilson Staff, Maxfli Fire, and Maxfli Red balls made the day off the tee a good one. However, don't believe reviewer's that pick a new club or ball and state that it actually goes straighter. Its the swing and shaft that make it go straight. This driver has an impressive sound and overall balance that moves the ball forward with little worry. If you're on the post about maybe buying this club, do it. Great price from a great company and retailer (golfball.com)

After trying other brands, not liking them, tried the BB ti, was impressed with first swing and have considerable amount of praise for the club. Recommend it to anyone. Results are great.

Big Bertha Ti 004

I am on my second BBTi. My first one was stolen along with the entire set of clubs from the trunk of my car. I purchased my second one after having the best drives of my life. I would not own a different driver if someone paid me. I am by far not a great golfer but, I like so many like to see a drive scream down the fairway and land anywhere from 240-300 on occasion. And it happens very effortlessly.

Looks Great!

The Big Bertha Titatium Driver may be a 2004 model.......... But who the heck cares anyways! I've read great reviews on it and it isn't gigantic like those other drivers you see, yet it isn't so small that you wiff it every time either! I don't own this driver, but I will soon!

FOR A GUY WHO HAS NO BACK SWING TO MENTION AND SLOW CLUB HEAD SPEED 80-90 ON A GOOD DAY. AFTER TAKING 4 OF THE BEST CLUBS TO TEST. ON A SIMILATOR THE BERTHA 11 DEGREE WAS MY TICKET I CAN GET 190-230 YARDS QUITE EASILY AND THE CLUB GOES STRAIGHT. P.S. IT WORKS WHEN REALLY PLAYING ALSO NOT JUST ON THE MACHINE.

Frequently asked questions about

Hello, I understand most drivers come in a 10.5 and 9.5 degree loft. I use a 10.5. When teeing off, my ball usually has a lot of loft and goes really high in the air, should I switch to a 9.5 degree

Thank you for your question. Is it worth testing out? Absolutely. Will the 9.5 give you a more penetrating ball flight is the question. Most golfers would kill to have more hang time but I know how you feel. I was in the same boat at one time and tested different lofts much like you. I ended up staying with the higher loft though. I would test it prior to officially making a move. Play Well, Johnny

In general, the 9.5 degree will tend to give a lower ball flight. However, the shaft also contributes to launch angle. Find a Golf shop that has a simulator that can measure your swing path, launch angle, club-head speed, ball speed, spin and distance. With this information, your Pro can tell you if you need a different club, or just a new shaft.

Thank you for your question. You would fall in the 'Regular' flex category based upon your swing speed. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Thank you, Johnny

I have used the YS-6 shaft in the 905T and the FT-i with pretty good success. Can you name me a couple other shafts that you think would give me the same "feel" and control? Thanks.

Thank you for your inquiry. There are a few other brands that have similar weight and launch profiles of the Graphite Design YS series. You should notice that the Aldila NVS 65, the Graphalloy ProLaunch 65, the UST V2 67, and the Fujikura E360 are all very comparable.
