The two sets are similar in makeup however the XL7000 set has a higher MOI driver with a composite head which will ultimately be more forgiving.

Thank you for your question. This set is built to standard mens specs. Standard fits 5'6" to about 5'10" so these may be a 1/2" short for you.

Hi, XL 5000 looks interesting - are the shafts of the irons of the XL 5000 set in steel or graphite?

Thank you for your question. The shafts of the irons and wedges are steel while the hybrids and woods have graphite shafts.

Hi, thanks for the question. It is possible to order just a pitching wedge, but depending on the wedge you need, it may not be available. -Parker

Hi, I'm also pretty new to golf and I'm about 5'6" and 13 years old, would you recommend these clubs or another set, which ones? (money isn't an issue)

Thank you for your question. This is a great beginner's set to start out with. The driver has an enlarged head that is more forgiving. I believe you will find these to your liking.

Hello...
I'm absolutely new to the sport of golf, just a bit under 6'0"
Would you recommend these for a complete newbie?
If not, any suggestions?

Duran, this set is perfect for any newcomer to the game. The set is standard length which for your height may be a tad on the short side but this set is one of the better complete beginner sets on the market.

Is there a noticeable difference between the XL 5000 and the simple XL in terms of weight, technology, material, etc. Thanks.

The XL 5000 has a lot more technology built into it over the regular XL set. It's worth the difference in price for the upgrade in product.
Thanks.

It should. I'm the same height and when tried this set out a few months ago it was fine for my height.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
