Golfballs.com Description
Wilson Staff's ZIP Golf Balls is the world's first zero-compression core which creates the softest overall feel on any ball on the market. It has an extremely soft and pliable ionomer cover that generates a higher spin rate which allows for a better control on short iron and approach shots. The ZIP Golf Balls have large, shallow dimples (50% shallower than the standard), which promotes a significantly higher launch to maximize distance and flight.
The Wilson Staff ZIP Golf Balls come in a 2 dozen pack. These golf balls are the first to ever have a zero-compression core, allowing the balls to have the softest overall feel and generating speeds like no other. The ZIP Balls shallow dimples allows you to have a much higher launch which maximizes your distance and flight.
- Shallow dimples
- 2 dozen pack
- Multi-layer construction
- Zero-compression core with speed-generating cover
- Super-soft ionomer cover grabs the clubface for higher spin and soft feel

I'am 87 years young.as you may have guessed I have lost some of my swing speed.I'am pretty good at pitching and putting but need more disrance on my drives, I tried the Wilson Zip and have added 15 or more yards.Very nice around the greens also

I read one of the reveiws addressing the fact that he had lost distance when he used the Wilson Zip ball.
I did my own test but first I would like to say that this is a great ball in cold weather (40-49 degrees). I also noticed that a friend of mine who has a swing speed, so he says around 100 MPH. We both tee'd up and I noticed that his shots were not as long as it has been. On the other hand my drives were 15 yards longer equal to his, but my swing speed is around 85 MPH. So I concluded that thia ball is not for those who have high swing speeds. I hope this information can help someone. And to those who can reach 100+ MPH in your swing speed remember you will lose that speed when you get older so don't fret just stop using (******* ***)that you use and change to a lower compression ball.

1. Not the same distance as usual for me, felt too soft.
2. Holds line well
3. Spin is good around greens.
4. Putter feel is good but takes a little time to master.
Not a bad budget ball
My swing speed is 95-100 and with this ball I lost distance.
Good ball for slow swing speed and colder weather.

I bought some Wilson Zip golf balls to bring with me to Florida in a couple of weeks, I am currently using the Top Flite D2+ Feel, and like them, but want more wedge spin to the green.
I'll report back with my findings upon my return.

I have been using Bridgestone #6 and saw the Wilson Zip ball and gave them a try. I have been very happy with the ZIp ball. It flys further, lands softer and putts easier than the Bridgestone I was hitting. It will stop on a dime with a 100 yard wedge. Excellent ball for the price. The only drawback is they are hard to find. I got mine at Walmart but they are out of stock now. I tried D***'s, Sports Authority and no luck.
