Gamer Overhyped
I read the GD Hot List review and bought some Gamers to try. Nice performing ball at a great price. The kicker comes from having to retire multiple balls per round. Any full 9i-through LW shot will leave a fright-wig of frayed cover hanging from the ball, along with plugging the grooves and face of your club. I use my remaining Gamers strictly for par 3's and after one hole, they are so scuffed they go into the shag bag. Don't get me wrong; I love the spin, they are just too fragile for my budget. There

Too Fragile
There are many equally good 2-piece balls that hold up better for mid-handicappers. Srixon AD333 comes to mind.

Gamer's got game....
Bought these balls as I was getting tired of losing more expensive balls at my home course (narrow fairways, dense woods). Must say was pleasantly suprised, balls stopped as well as the more expensive Callaways I was playing, no loss of distance. Feel great off the all the clubs.

Good Ball, Great Price
After reading the review in Golf Digest, I decided to give this ball a try. I maintained the distance I was getting, but got more feel and backspin around the green. It helped me to check up on the green instead of running off the back.

great ball
I used this ball in my high school confrence championship, and i shot my best tournament score, earning medalist honors with a +6 78 as a freshman being only 5 foot 3. the ball has great feel and distance. it does tend to scuff on mid/short irons but the overall performance is comparable with golf balls 25-40$

Scuffs too easily
The ball has a nice feel to it however the outside cover scuffs too easily for my taste. Short irons take a toll on the ball in a hurry. I play a round of golf with one ball , I end up throwing it in my shag bag because I see no sense in using it again due to its condition. Other than the cover, the ball performs well.

Gamer OK
Not as much spin as better 3 piece balls. Otherwise, good value for the price. No difference in distance or scores but a satisfactory feeling ball.

pretty good ball, especially for the money
I don't have any magical tales of distance gained or holes-in-one. I sometimes doubt the fish-tales people tell here of mystical balls granting thing strange powers of golf. But the ball doesn't tend to balloon up like a lot of my Taylormade or Titleist balls do when they rob me of some distance. Also it really does tend to fly straighter for me. I am a lefty and my slices tends left. I cant get rid of it entirely but some balls seem to really exacerbate the problem. Others, like the Callaway Diablo a

Why pay 2 x $ for the same perfomance
This ball has classic Top Flite Distance and the feel of my previous Bridgestone. My driving average went from 240 to 287 almost over night. and my GIR's went from 47% to 67% in just 2 weeks. Oh, by the way "Jefferson" The Top-Flite company no longer exist. The ball franchise is now owned by Calaway. you might want to look into the 100% satisfaction Guarantee on the box. This ball is designed for serious golfers who want added distance and can keep it off the cart path, trees, and sprinkler heads.

nice but needs work
Reviews on this ball were good and I was looking for something new, so I tried a sleeve. This ball plays very well whether off the tee or around the green, but the outside coating on this ball is horrible. It scuffs like crazy and at one point I found myself taking my metal brush to the ball to scrape away all the little plastic hairs on it. Top-Flite really needs to solve that problem before this ball can gain any true acceptability whatsoever.
