There is only a couple other balls out there that come off the face of a 56 degree like the Pro V1 and those balls don't carry off the tee the same, WHich tells me Titliest is, and has been doing something right for a long time

I've tried just about every ball out there trying to find the ball that outperforms the Pro-V1 for a lesser price; still haven't found it. I've been to a few golf fittings too, you know the ones I mean. They have recommended their ball, but I always go back to the Pro-V1. It is truly the best performing ball on the market. I will spend the money to have the Pro-V1 from now on.

I've been using the pro v for 2 years, bringing my handicap down to a 7 from 10. The extra yardage on the drive and the extra control on the greens saves a few strokes a game... consider a lot of par 5s reachable on two, from almost anywhere, hit and hold a green. Factor that to your game and you've saved , maybe 5 strokes... means a lot at this hdcp area..

Ever see a Patent number on a golf ball? Of course not, there are no proprietary materials or manufacturing processes. The cores are a mix of different materials, but that mix could be in a 50 cent ball core or a $5 ball. Same for covers. 3 and 4 piece balls have the additional cost of 1 or 2 more stations on the assembly line, but the cost is minimal. I have used pro v1 for years and i love them but my handicap hasn't changed still a 12.4. Sveeni in previous review dropped his hc by 11. I guess he has the clowns mouth figured out.

These are listed as Practice Balls. Are they different than what would have been sold in stores as the standard ProV balls?

The "Practice" balls come straight from Titleist with "Practice" stamped on the side. Playability is the same, just a cosmetic defect. Thanks!
