Feel (Compression)
Feel is a term that considers the firmness or compression of the golf ball. Typically the softer the golf ball feels, the lower the compression rating. A general rule of thumb about golf ball compression is that players with a lower swing speed should use a lower compression ball to take advantage of the added spring affect.

9 Iron Spin
9 iron spin is regarding the backward rotation of the golf ball in flight or the measured rate of that rotation. Most golfers think of backspin more in relation to shorter irons and wedges. Backspin is what causes some wedge shots to "back up" on the green, or roll backwards after hitting the green.

Taylor Made's Tour Preferred Black Golf Ball
10/7/2008
The Taylor Made TP Black golf ball is a sure win in any bag. Its designed for the lower-spin player. Taylor Made has LDP technology, Low-Drag Performance, that gives the TP Black ball the ability to expand your sweetspot. LDP forgives off-center hits by delivering added lift to keep the ball airborne. Balls with LDP boast improved distance on the most common driver off-center hits compared to balls without LDP. I shot my best round in 3 years the first time I used this ball. The low spin rate keeps me straighter; the spin with shorter irons is like throwing darts at the green, and the ball feels solid coming off any club. I'm sold.

Good ball for a custom logo
10/13/2008
For anyone looking for a top quality ball to put a custom logo on, I say you've found it. They are more durable than some other comparable balls, and you'll save a few bucks per dozen using this logo golf ball in a tournament diddy bag.

BEST TAYLORMADE EVER!!!
9/19/2008
This ball is awesome off the tee. LONG LONG drives, easy to control spin and distance from fairways. I have an arsenal of Miura Wedges that have sharp grooves, just tears this ball to shreds. Def. lacks durabilty. But may help low-mid handicappers cut a few strokes off the scorecard.

GREAT BALL.....OK durability
7/23/2008
The ball is great off the tee and from the fairway. i smash this ball. but when you get inside a 100yds......this is wear the durability is slacking. i use a spin milled Vokey and it peels little flakes of the cover off. the ball is great. i get a tremendous amount of spin. but i need more durability. But i would recomend this ball to low - mid handicappers.

The only ball that we can put custom numbers over 8 will be the Taylor Made Pentas. They offer custom numbers 00 through 99. If you place an order, just include in the orde rnotes that you would like all #13 balls. It's also a $2 charge per dozen.

Hi, thanks for the question. This is a high compression tour ball. I would recommend the Titleist DT Roll or the Bridgestone E7 for penetrating flights and a little extra roll. -Parker

The TP Black is the fastest ball off the tee because it compresses faster & releases quicker than the Pro-v 1 or X From 100 yards in use a steeper degreed iron or open your club more add Club speed. The ball will do whatever you need. The new V grooves will make you find this out in time we are all dealing with lack of control an ball spin !
