Technical Data

Swing Speed
Swing speed is a measure of velocity, in miles per hour, of how fast the club head of a golf club is traveling at the point it makes impact with the golf ball. Swing speed can be recorded by a launch monitor or other electronic radar devices.

Handicap
Balls designed for higher handicap golfers generally have harder covers that result in lower spin rates with irons and drivers. Balls designed for low handicap golfers tend to offer your more control and spin.

Feel (Compression)
Feel is a term that considers the firmness or compression of the golf ball. Typically the softer the golf ball feels, the lower the compression rating. A general rule of thumb about golf ball compression is that players with a lower swing speed should use a lower compression ball to take advantage of the added spring affect.

9 Iron Spin
9 iron spin is regarding the backward rotation of the golf ball in flight or the measured rate of that rotation. Most golfers think of backspin more in relation to shorter irons and wedges. Backspin is what causes some wedge shots to "back up" on the green, or roll backwards after hitting the green.

Tour Ball for Low Price!
2/13/2010
The Srixon Trispeed Tour golf ball gives the golfer tour qualitites in a golf ball without the tour price. The Trispeed Tour has incredibly soft feel and will not take away distance due to its ideal spin with the driver. It will produce a better ball flight that will maximize a player's distance off of the tee without sacrificing feel and accuracy.

AWESOME!!!!!!!!!
3/4/2010
This is the best ball I have ever played. I have a moderate swing speed (about 95) and have played everything from the NXT tour to the B330 RX and so one and this is the best ball by far. It was long off the tee, great ball flight with long irons, and 150 yards and in I could get this ball to hit the green and then s*** back a good, 3 feet. With pitching and chipping this ball does it all. For around $30 a dozen it is $20 cheaper than the RX and in my opinion a better ball.

It appears the major difference is the compression. The tour is in the mid 80s and the Trispeed is 66.

What is the difference between the Srixon Trispeed and the Srixon Trispeed Tour models? Thank you!

Hi, thanks for the question. Both golf balls are three piece and promote distance. The Trispeed tour will offer more responsive feel around the green with a tour performing outer cover. -Parker
