Feel (Compression)
Feel is a term that considers the firmness or compression of the golf ball. Typically the softer the golf ball feels, the lower the compression rating. A general rule of thumb about golf ball compression is that players with a lower swing speed should use a lower compression ball to take advantage of the added spring affect.

9 Iron Spin
9 iron spin is regarding the backward rotation of the golf ball in flight or the measured rate of that rotation. Most golfers think of backspin more in relation to shorter irons and wedges. Backspin is what causes some wedge shots to "back up" on the green, or roll backwards after hitting the green.

Great soft ball for ladies

The Srixon Soft feel for ladies is a great ball. Its design for ladies of all swings speeds. It helps with distance of the tee and offers the right amount of spin around the greens. I recommend this ball for all ladies.

I can not get these balls to spin. I can get them high in the air, just cant get them to stop. I love the soft feel off the face though.

Super Long Winter Balls

I found a Srixon SF Lady and threw it down and hit it. I was 150 to the pin and hit an 8-iron. The ball carried 180 in a 43 degree drizzle. I couldn't believe it. On the holes that followed, I hit it side by side with ProV 1 and 1X, and the Lady Srixon was 20 yards longer. On the 9th hole, a 189 yard par three, I hit a solid 8-iron. The Titleists required my usual 5-iron. The SF Lady Srixons are crazy-long. I'm a 2 handicap and have tried just about every ball. Some cheap balls perform very well (N

My husband has played them so I think I will give them a try. I played with it only once but it seemed to be softer than I am used to.

We have not heard of this from Srixon. We did see their new lineup and a Pink Soft Feel for Ladies was not part of it. Thanks.

Thank you for your inquiry regarding the Srixon Lady Soft Feel. Our internal compression testing actually lists the Srixon Soft Feel Lady golf ball at an average of 74. The Titleist DT line now consists of the DT Roll and DT Carry in place of the DT SoLo.
