Played this ball for the first time last weekend. Ball goes far and straight and resists sidespin, so working the ball off the tee is limited. Ball sits down well on approach shots and feels good off the putter. This ball would be a good replacement for anyone now playing the NXT balls. I usually play the ProV1 but found this ball a good substitute.

Frequently asked questions about
Is this ball basically the Tour Trispeed? If not what are the main differences? Not a fan of the regular Trispeed but I really like the Tri Star due to green side spin.

Srixon would never admit to that. They say they created the perfect ball with the distance/softness of the AD333 and the performance of the TriSpeed Tour in the Q-Star. The Q-Star is made for a wider variety of golfers over just the TriSpeed Tour. Great golf ball. I tried it and love it.

Srixon is becoming a major player in golf balls. I've been playing the green box soft ball, and the AD333. The folks at golf Galaxy suggested I try the Q-Star. I was surprised at how it performed. Solid feel off my Nicklaus Air Max driver, and straight. There's little roll on our wet fairways. Good spin on approach wedge shots. The best part is the feel off the putter, a nice clean solid sound. I'm a senior and need all the help I can get from my ball. I think you'll see a lot more players trying and switching to Srixon.
