Johnny, your wrong.
The X is made for greater distance and a low spin. The S is the opposite, made for greater spin over distance.

A have played both balls and in my opinion - Your both right - The player with a faster swing speed will generally benefit more from playing with the x over the s. The x is made for greater distance and slightly less spin vs the s that is optimized to provide greater spin (control if your that good) and slightly less distance. Both are 4 piece balls so you do get a good amount of spin separation from driver to short iron.
