Found a beta Ti ball on the course and started using it after lossing my ball. I Play with it the rest of the day and liked the way it played. I used that same ball for 18 holes the next day and had my first Hole-In-One on the final hole (par 5, lob wedge-78 yards in). I need two boxes of those.

This is A Great Ball

Well I just played this ball this weekend. It was the first round I have played in 9 years. I used Titlest for the 4 years I played before the long break, and I loved them. When I hit my first shot with the Beta I was blown away. I admit I went for the cheapest ball on the shelf, and it turns out, I feel it could be the best. Great Ball for begginers and even for not so new to the game players. Hits Farther and Straighter and Smoother than any other ball I have ever Played. I was thinking when I got these t

I picked these up at Kmart on sale for about 7$ for 18 golf balls. This deal beat Targets line of golf balls that run for about 8.50$ for 15 balls. These balls are great. They hold up well. I noticed an increase in distance as well as a more responsive feel on my iron shots. The ball just seems to launch really well and straight to. I really dont notice much difference in golf balls but these really felt different to me and I really enjoy playing with them. I recently launched these at some far greens and

You say low compression. What is the actual compression as they feel like a rock.

Jerry, the shelf life of the golf balls if stored in a climate controlled area is non existent. The balls will perform to the standards they were produced at the time. If you are playing an older golf ball you may notice differences from performance of newer balls but that is due to advances in technology not because the ball is "dead". Only storing balls out doors or in non controllable climates will you notice the balls only last around 2 years in most cases.

Are not range balls manufactured differently for the extra abuse they receive? I factor in the difference from 'range distance' to 'course distance.' My course distance will a 'normal' ball is always about 10-30 yards better than the 'range rocks'. For fun, take a range ball onto course and compare. At PGA events, the range balls are new Titleists to match the course balls the pros may use. Pros switch out balls after they go 'out-of-round' which is determined by a Acu-Check tool. I think the
