Golfballs.com Expert Description
Callaway harnesses years of experience with innovative sports technology to bring you an elite 3-piece urethane golf ball, the HEX Chrome. Ideal for players with moderate swing speeds, it addresses all the components a sportsperson would seek in a ball; a soft feel, impressive distance and high spin.
The resilient proprietary urethane cover offers a pleasantly soft feel that simultaneously goes the extra mile to prevent any scratches or cuts. What’s more, this outer cover is engineered to yield short-game spin to ultimately lower your score.
The HEX Chrome showcases the innovative s-Tech low compression core and is encompassed by a strong, sleek mantel that can withstand one play after the next without making the ball undesirably hard. The result? Incredible speed and distance for those with modest swings without any excessive spin.
Looking for minimal drag and a steady flight? Then take advantage of our patented HEX Aerodynamics, which is featured across the entire surface of the sphere; compare that to most golf balls with the traditional round dimples that cover only 88% instead. The HEX Chrome contains the best HEX Aerodynamics Callaway has developed yet, enabling you to perform your best.
Callaway HEX Chrome Overview

Golfballs.com Staff Review: from Luke
This is a 3-piece, lower compression ball for the slower swing speed player who still wants to play a tour level ball. Comparable to a Bridgestone B330 RX. Very aerodynamic cover with the same DuraSpin cover on the Chrome + this ball will also have great feel. Also available in 2 colors options, if your swing speed is not over 95 but you still want to play a tour level performance ball, give this a shot.

Can you please tell me what designates "over run" balls. For instance I was looking at Callaway Hex Chrome overrun balls which are $5 cheaper per doz than the same ball in stock - thanks

These are new balls that simply have a Corporate Logo or message on it. Thanks.

Logo overruns are a great deal, and I've ordered overruns from golfballs.com and always been happy.
Here is the biz reality behind the "logo-overrun" balls: A manufacturer makes more balls than the retailers can absorb at a given price point. To break the price point, they put logos on them before boxing.
A few years back, right after the financial crisis, logos overruns were everywhere in every price range ball. When a ixTour or ProV1 or NXT comes with "Danny's Coffe Stop&q
