Feel (Compression)
Feel is a term that considers the firmness or compression of the golf ball. Typically the softer the golf ball feels, the lower the compression rating. A general rule of thumb about golf ball compression is that players with a lower swing speed should use a lower compression ball to take advantage of the added spring affect.

9 Iron Spin
9 iron spin is regarding the backward rotation of the golf ball in flight or the measured rate of that rotation. Most golfers think of backspin more in relation to shorter irons and wedges. Backspin is what causes some wedge shots to "back up" on the green, or roll backwards after hitting the green.

Bridgestone e6 great all around ball
1/15/2010
The Bridgestone e6 is a great all around ball. It reduces slice and hooks for a straighter ball flight and is soft around the greens. Its recommended for someone who is just looking for all around ball to play.

Nice but...

This ball was long, but I didn't have the same compression feel as a top line tour ball. Also, I could NEVER stop this ball on the green. I had to take one less club and let it roll onto the green instead of hit my normal distance. I've played about 5 rounds with them, and I gave them away.

Bridgestone e6
1/11/2010
The e6 is a great ball all around. The main difference that I noticed is with the driver. It advertises the the e6 reduces side spin and I can honestly say that it does just that without taking distance away. Also, my short game has improved with the great feel of this ball. My handicap has dropped from a 18 to a 13 since switching to Bridgestone e6 and e6+ golf balls and I recommend them to everyone.

Bridgestone e6 playability
10/23/2009
I have played golf for nearly 65 years (age75). Needless to say have played with hundreds of brands of golf balls. I play using the senses of feel, sight and sound as well as technique. The Bridgestone e6 endures all the qualities that help me enjoy the great game of golf. This ball helps me shoot my age or under half of the time I play. Take my playing buddies bets.

Frequently asked questions about

I know I can put three lines on the ball if I personalize it. Can I use the three lines to read "DEE" so it appears very large..

The DEE would be on one line, and if you indicate in the order notes that you would like it as large as possible, we can make it a little bigger but not much. Thanks!

I have found some b6 & b7 balls that have a + after the number but I have never seen these balls in the store. What does the + mean. Thank you.

The older model e series balls had + symbols. Not much difference in playability just the 2008 model balls. Thanks!
