Exceptional Performace
Over the years I've tried my fair share of brands. Every time I come back to Titleist as my go to ball knowing they deliver the best ball for my game. Being a bit rusty and poor I was looking for a consumer friendly ball. The last couple years I've been eyeing up the Bridgestone line & with closeout pricing on the e5 I felt it was time to give these a shot.
I've been playing nothing but the e5 for the last 3 weeks so feel comfortable enough w/ them to put my 2 cents in. Simply put, after my first round I ordered 2 more dozen & I'm leaning toward buying more. Needless to say I'm beyond happy with the e5. This ball definitely delivers & will remain a ball constantly inside bag.
I think the easiest way to review the e5, in short, imho these are very comparable to Pro Vs in almost every aspect of the game. If you love Pro V's but want to try something more affordable, here's your ball. Off the Driver these provide exceptional distance w/ low ball spin meaning straight solid drives every time. I've been hitting my tee shots as far or farther than I do w/ a Pro V & I'm consistently hitting it straighter more often. Off the irons the e5 hit perfectly. Exceptional feel, distance & roll. Not a major complaint or one that truly hurts the e5 but I think the only fault I've found w/ them is around the green. The e5 tends to run a little & aren't quite as playable as a Pro V. Which is the only portion of the game that leaves anything to be desired. That being said they still play well in the short game and on the green. Unfortunately they aren't perfect but when considering their price I feel the e5 easily provided the best ball for the buck. I can honestly say the e5 is going to be a strongly suggested ball to friends. These are a must try imho.
