I've had a plastic "skeleton" hat frame (fits hat inside and outside) I use to wash my hats in the washing machine. After washing I let them air dry by wadding up a hand towel inside the hat which helps absorb moisture and hold the hat form.

I wash my hats, my wife washes my clothes.
put your hats in the dishwasher, No dishes.
When you take them out, wad up newspaper to form
them the hat an set in the sun.

I own about 8 of these caps and two aspects of their quality stand out.
1. The color fades by about the 2nd washing.
2. They develop rust on the portion that is a magnet.
3. Considering their retail cost and the fact that I rotated they frequently they are an inferior product....Sorry

Very true. It's a cap that forms more around your head than other versions that have a crown.
