    Only some payment processing information is collected by us as we use a third party for payment processing.       With the exception of email addresses, physical address and cell phone numbers which are not displayed publicly, registered users' voluntary personal profile information, including pictures, are displayed to other registered users in order to facilitate user interaction. Registered users' usernames are displayed to all users, although each verified user has the option of having his or her full name displayed to all users instead of his or her username. We therefore encourage you to choose a username that is not your actual name.       We disclose to a third-party retargeting company a user’s browse data based on cookie behavior. Or we may pass a third-party sweepstakes partner the zip code or postal code and email address of a user that opted into a sweepstakes.

      We may also contribute to or participate in cooperative databases, which give other companies access to Personal Information for their own marketing purposes.

Terminating your registration will not necessarily remove previous public comments or other user content on public display on the Site(s).       If you do not receive a response from us to any emails you send to us within ten (10) business days, please send us another email as your original email may not have been received.

  14. SMS MESSAGING

    This part of the Privacy Policy will be referred to as the Messaging Program Privacy Policy. This Messaging Program Privacy Policy explains how Golfballs.com collects and uses information about you in relation to its text message and electronic message marketing program (the "Messaging Service"). We use Attentive to provide the Messaging Service to you. For the purposes of the Messaging Service, Attentive acts as our service provider and data processor of your information.

    The rest of this Privacy Policy, including terms relating to your rights, ways to exercise your rights, how to opt out, amendments and governing law, all apply equally to this part of the Privacy Policy, known as the Message Program Privacy Policy.

    1. Collection of Information

      We collect various information from you, including information you directly provide when you use the Messaging Service. For example, we collect the phone number and email address you provided when signing up for the Messaging Service. When you send messages via the Messaging Service, we will also collect your messaging history and any information included in those messages.

  15. CHILDREN

    We do not knowingly permit persons under 18 years of age to use the Site(s), and we do not knowingly collect, use, or disclose Personal Information from anyone under 18 years of age. If we determine upon collection that a user is under this age, we will not use or maintain this Personal Information without the parent/guardian's consent. If we become aware that we have unknowingly collected personally identifiable information from a child under the age of 18, we will delete such information from our records.

  16. GOVERNING LAW

    This Privacy Policy and all related matters shall be interpreted and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada.
