Golfballs.com Expert Description

The new Srixon Q-Star Tour is a premium, lower compression golf ball with an enhanced urethane cover designed specifically for golfers with moderate swing speeds that are looking for Tour-level performance and feel.

Softer Energetic Gradient Growth Core

The 3-piece construction of the Q-Star Tour starts with Srixon's proprietary, soft Energetic Gradient Growth™ core. This softer core gradually moves to a firmer outer area, allowing your shot to spin lower and fly faster off the clubface.

Advanced 324 Speed Dimple Design

Srixon's Speed Dimple™ Technology on Q-Star Tour golf balls ensure much better uniformity and coverage among all 324 dimples for the ultimate in aerodynamics. Shots cut through stiff winds without drag, which results in a more consistent trajectory and distance.

Improved Spin Skin

On top of the advanced dimples, you'll find the newest generation of Spin Skin™ coating. This unique feature maximizes the force at contact for a golf ball that results in more control around the green and ultra soft feel. Plus, the proprietary, ultra-soft urethane cover works with the SpinSkin to provide the ultimate in durability.

Features of Srixon Q-Star Tour Golf Balls:

  • Srixon products are prohibited from shipping outside the United States
  • Advanced Speed Dimple design and Spin Skin

Love the Srixon Prior Generation Q-Star Tour ball for its performance and price. The ball has plenty of distance and minimizes spin to keep you in the fairways and on the greens. The logo overruns are the best priced deal anywhere and several times I've received balls with no logo. Great ball, at a great price.

Years ago I played the Srixon Tri-Speed and liked very much. The Q-Star Tour does everything I can expect within my talent level. It also seems to maintain it's appearance better than some competitors. I am anxious to try the newer generation version, but at this price I couldn't resist, plus the logo overruns do not require me to mark the ball.

I used to play any ball I could get my hands on at a goood price. But my pro said I was being unfair to myself and should play the best falls. I experimented and found that I hit the Titleist V1 longer and with better stopping around the greens. So, I mostly play that all now. But a close second is the Q Star Tour which is not quite as long and doesn’t hold as well. But it’s my go-to second ball and better for my pocket book, especially for the days when I’m not in synch and spraying all over the place.

Played the Q star for the first time today. Really liked how it felt coming off the club face and the distance was right up there with my gamer. Srixon has a keeper with this ball being for those of us who have a slower tempo, yet still have the game. Yes, we do loose clubhead speed with age. Really looking forward to playing this a few more times, but first impression is great ball and great price from Golfballs.com I'll certainly be coming back for more!
