Callaway HBT+

Ordered 3 dozen HBT+ logo overrun balls. I have been a long time Callaway player, but never tried the HBT+. These are very good balls which are quite long off the tee, but still have good playability on approach shots and around the green. If you like the Callaway Chrome Soft but want a cheaper option, these are pretty comparable at a much lower price point. Also, the logo overrun balls actually came with no logo, which was fine with me. I would order these again.

Callaway's Hex Blk Tour & Logo Overrun Golf Balls

I really like all aspects of Callaway's Hex Black Tour & Logo Overrun Golf Balls. the feel when struck sweet, the action on the green when approaching weather chipping or full swings. The durability of the ball is superb to any. I've used a ball for over 27holes many times and it still looked good ! Pro V's come 2nd to this ball !!

On A Whim...It Performs

Weekend player...11.3 index. I like the short game performance of the PV1 and consider that the benchmark...always looking for closeouts on tour caliber balls...the price online was too tempting not to try them...after a couple of days on the practice chipping/putting green, I played last week with the Callaway HBT. Distance...not as long as the PV1. Durability...completed 9 holes without any noticeable change, but no trees or cart paths were hit like normal. Irons...stops quickly...some spin back on wedges...club shorter than PV1 Short game spin...this is where the ball is very close to PV1 performance...soft, it bites quickly on pitches and checks on 9i bump n run shots. Predictable response around the greens make it a good scoring ball...will reserve judgement on distance until another round in warmer weather.

These might be overruns, but who cares. I get a great deal on them and they play as good as any top line ball. Around the green I can expect the control of the ball to be true and stop on a dime.
