Callaway Golf Chrome Soft Truvis Golf Balls - Prior Generation

All my friends laughed at me when I bought these out to play. They were all kidding me about using a soccer ball to golf with, however their laughter soon turned to whining when I collected all the money for the round. They all wanted to know if they are legal balls.Along with the soft feel and long distance they are easier to spot and tend to hold my eye better during my swing. If I had to give them a downside it would be putting as it is harder to tell if they are rolling true.

I call it my soccer ball. You can see it spin on the short shots. see it roll on the green, oh, and it flies well too!

The Callaway Truvis is much easier for the older eyes to track in flight. We have had a lot of smoke and dust in this area throughout the summer. Tracking ball flight 100 yards off of the tee was difficult. But with the Truvis I can track the ball flight 250 yards out with ease.

I play the Callaway chrome soft balls anyway so trying the Truvis balls wasn't a big deal. People have hit my balls by mistake at least twice a month with the white balls but none so far with the Truvis balls. As far as following the ball in the air the Truvis balls are no different but on the ground they really stand out. I'm looking forward to some new designs with the Truvis technology. Some people may think the ball looks too "busy" at address but as for me I absolutely love them!
