Get faster ball speeds off the face to make mind-blowing distances on the course with Mizuno’s JPX-900 Hot Metal Steel Wedge. To make a faster face that produced longer distances, Mizuno utilizes Chromoly 4140M which other manufacturer are not using yet. This material makes the club 15% stronger while allowing you to customize your loft and lie while maintaining its high COR. Ball speed can be retained across more of the face from the new material that allows the face to be thinner while keeping its strength. To also increase ball speed, the face uses a cup face with a CORETECH multi-thickness design to create a larger sweet spot and increased COR.

Advanced Club Head Frame

MOI is increased through the club’s power frame design that places more weight around the perimeter of the club head to help transfer energy at impact. The frame is also able to produce a crisp sound through its power frame design that utilizes Harmonic Impact Technology.
