good Value Spikeless Shoe
I own several pairs of Footjoys (Contours) and decided to try these GreenJoys as an inexpensive alternative to keep in my car for the range after work. The fit is good (I have a very wide foot). I am not a fan of the synthetic uppers -- they are sturdy and well constructed, though stiffer than leather. They will be excellent in wet or muddy conditions -- easy to clean and low maintenance. I replaced the sock-liner with a sturdier insole. The stock insole was very thin and didn't have the support I enjoy in the Contour models. All in all these are a good value, but I'll stick with leather when I'm walking the course. If you are looking for the "glove-like" feel of leather, these may not be the shoe for you. If you want to go spineless and don't want to shell out big bucks, try these.
