For maximum speed at impact, the Tour Edge Exotics EX9 Fairway Wood features a streamlined head shape. Sleeker club design, higher launch, removable sole weights, and a high-powered face work together to bring players the speed and distance needed to cover the course.
Aerodynamic Head Design
A sloped crown shape reduces the wind resistance to boost club speed, while the innovative SlipStream Sole minimizes turf interaction that would normally slow down players’ swings. The faster the clubhead, the more power golfers can yield on impact, sending shots far and long down the fairway. The sole also contains a Power Grid, which moves weight from behind the face and deeper into the back of the club. This weight shift produces higher launches, to get golfers’ shots soaring.
High Quality Construction
The 475 Carpenter steel cup face uses advanced robotic laser beam bonding to combine with the hyper-steel body without the interruption of noticeable seams. This smoother finish allows the face to function at its peak performance, and increases the overall quality of the club.
To enhance draw, a 9-gram screw weight in the heel lives in an 8-gram weighted pad to offer an additional 17-grams total.
