used it once when borrowing the Adams ladies golf set and was most impressed with the way I adapted to it, not only the a40 Idea tech #5, but to the entire adams line. I have a Callaway driver, 7 wood and the callaway #5 hybrid. No comparison to the ada 4/21/2009

The Boxer Technology of the A4OS has increased perimiter weighting which has increased MOI for the new model. The shaft offered in the A4 will also assist in getting the ball airborne easier.

I believe the a40S #5 is a hybrid substitute to a 5 iron?? Would the #4 be a substitute for the 3 or 4 iron???

That is correct. In the Adams Tech A4OS the 3,4,& 5 hybrids are replacments for your traditional long irons. This will make those long approach shots much less difficult increasing scores for all levels of play.
