i love the burner hybrid(19 degrees)... i thought the old rescue dual hybrid was great, as i still do... but this new burner hybrid is much better becaue it is still easy to hit far, but not easy to chunk (something that the onld dual rescue made easy when i hit on a steeper plane)... i have been more consistent with my long shots into the greens (which i can hit up to 225 yards with this 19 hybrid) and is still long so i can position myself of the tees when the par four is only 350 or so yards... again, th

Amazing Club - My Favorite

I have trouble hitting my driver straight, and gave the Taylormade rescue hybrid 4 a try. From the first hit I was amazed. This club is very forgiving, and I can hit longer straighter shots with it.
I always let my friends try the club, and they seem to always love it too. My friend just bought one after he tried mine.
I have replaced my 4 and 6 iron, with these rescue clubs, and today I will be buying the Taylormade rescue hybrid 3 to replace my 3 iron.

I have been slowly trying to convert from long irons to rescue woods due to me getting older and a bad back. I have been using the TM mid rescues for about 2 years and they have been ok. I found them myself to be a little inconsistent with them. For Father's day I was rewarded with a TM Burner rescue 3. I traded in my 22 degree mid rescue 4. I think this club blows away the mid rescues. The club looks and feels more solid. It also has a bigger head than the mid rescue. I find that I am able to get the

I have trouble hitting my 3 and 5 woods straight...would rescue clubs be a better option??? And what # club would be the proper replacements?
I am a 13 to 14 handicap. I have driver - 3 wood - 5 wood, 3 to 9 irons, and P, S & L wedges. With the putter thats 14. I hit my 5 wood about 210 and a 3 iron about 200 but am very inconsistent wi

Larry, I think you will find that to be an excellent resolution to your issue. The hybrid will typically give you slight distance advances vs your irons and will be close enough to the 5 wood distance to allow you to substitute the hybrid for either club. Plus the hybrid will be easier to hit than both making this club a more consistent option as well.

Get a hybrid to replace your 3 iron, and maybe your 4 iron as well, unless you are a good ball striker. the 3 hybrid (i have the burner) is incredible. hits it high, straight, and far. its a great club. highly recommend it.
I hit a 5 wood about 215, a 7 wood about 200 and a 9 wood about 180. Please advise what the 3 or 4 hybrid would replace and the difference?

Howard, the 3 hybrid loft is typically very similar to the 7 wood while the 4 hybrid will be similar to your 9 wood. Because of the shaft length difference from wood to hybrid (roughly 1") you will notice that the woods do travel slightly farther when both are struck well. In your case, I would expect the 3 hybrid to travel roughly 190 while the 4 hybrid may travel roughly 170. Thanks Andy.
i am new at golf, my question is replacing my 3, 4 and 5 iron with the taylormade hybrid rescue, that the rescue club will do just as good as my iron club thank donald cody

Donald,
Welcome to the game. As a beginner I'd ditch my 3, 4 and 5 iron for hybrids quickly! Hybrids make the game much more enjoyable for a huge number of golfers!

If you hit this fairway wood good,do you think you would get more height or distance out of it?thanks.

Great Question.
The answer is both! They go hand in hand together. That's why so many companies taught High Launch clubs or balls. More carry, etc.....More height should translate into more distance.
I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Play Well,
Johnny
