great driver 7/24/2008 Handicap 20-30 i was using a very old driver before my brother gave me this driver used. ( he could stop slicing it) i however after one trip to the range. took it to the coarse and would fade and slice it at first but then then it @ 300 yards straight. now i can hit it 9/10 times dead straight for 280 - 330 yards. great beginner driver, andrew (Warwick, RI) Maxfli PowerMax 7/17/2008 Handicap 6 - 10 I just bought the club today and i love it. That might be because ive been using old stainless steel drivers my whole life and hitting 250 at max. First round with the PowerMax and i was hitting 300+ consistently, maxing out at 345. I was having a horrible time trying to get my Nike Ignite 3 wood to hit the fairway. This driver tore it up! I've been driving over 270yds with good accuracy. No doubt something else might get me a few more yards, but I'd pay about $10 a yard probably for a more expensive club. A great value. It is a great club for the natural evolution to more expensive clubs as you get better i'm really excited to use this club for the next 2 to 3 years.
