Product Description
Over the last 20 years, John Hoeflich has designed many of the game’s best-selling irons. Millions of golfers, including many of the world’s best players, have benefited from his iron design philosophy of mixing art with technology and looks with performance. With the 3DX Iron, Hoeflich challenged himself to create the highest level of game improvement irons combined with the classic look that have come to represent Hoeflich irons over the years.
The first thing a golfer will notice after hitting the 3DX Iron is how far you hit them! Cast from 431 stainless steel, the 3DX has a remarkably thin and strong face, creating a very high C.O.R. to promote faster ball speed. Twenty grams of weight were saved from the face and redistributed in two perfectly balanced tungsten-polymer fused inserts (XW Inserts) on the back of the clubhead.
Moving 20 grams of weight to the back of the blade and widening the sole makes the 3DX easy to launch and easy to play from a wide variety of lies.

Increased Yardage
7/5/2007
Handicap 10 - 15
I had purchased this set in April with the hybrid 3/4 irons. I have added 20-30 yards to all of my irons and increased confidence in the process. I was a very average golfer at best using my 5 iron at about 150 yards. I am now able to use a 7-8 iron and actually hit greens, (finally up to speed with most NORMAL golfers.) The feel on this set is very smooth and would recommend them to anyone. I had tested Cobra, Ping, Taylor Made, and Callaway and decided to go with these because I felt most comfortable

I keep reading about length of shaft, measuring wrist to floor, I am short, so what does this measurement tell me and how do I apply it to shaft length

Thank you for your question in regard to shaft lengths. The measurement from wrist to floor will determine which length you will need your shaft set at. Typically, shorter golfer will need their irons/woods cut down in order to maximize proper impact. Please determine the length of your arm from wrist to floor from a standing upright position with your arms at your side and I can determine the optimal length for you.

Also your wrist to floor measurement will determine what lie angle you need. I'm 5'3" and I needed my clubs flattened 3 degrees from standard! Look into it!
I am a average golfer looking for new clubs...current set had extra inch added to shaft length, but not sure I needed it. I am 6'2"...would a custom club fitting be recommended or would std shaf

Thank you for your inquiry. Typically guys your height will need added length to the shaft with an upright lie angle. Your arm length from wrist to floor will give a better idea as to how much additional length is needed. The majority of golfers in your height range would benefit from a 1/2" extended shaft and a 2 degree upright lie angle. The custom iron set will definately improve your ball striking ability and your consistency in your iron play. Please give us a call if you have further quest
