Green-grabbing power your customers will love. 7/18/2008
Handicap 0 - 5
Your customers will love getting this as a promotional golf gift because of the HX Hot Bite's green-grabbing power. Put your company logo on this ball and watch the smiles of your clients and tournament participants grow when this ball bites on the green. This is a great custom logo golf item for any business meeting on the links or tournament diddy bag.

Green Stopper 7/16/2009
Handicap 10 - 15
This ball will stop on a dime. Even for mid-handicappers, who don't usually spin the ball. The down-side is that you will need a new ball on every other hole. Any decent shot will make it as fuzzy as a tennis ball.

Great Ball - Lousy Cover 3/3/2009
Handicap 10 - 15
Extremely nice all around ball. Nice feel and distance off the tee and good touch around the greens. BUT terrible cover! My 2nd shot with a full Vokey Spin Mill 54?? 08??b into a green caused the cover to shred! I had to replace with a new ball in order to putt. Expected better from a $30 ball from Callaway!

The talk is about club head speed; high, moderate and low. Just where does one go to determine club head speed and does this only apply to drivers?
A

Thank you for your inquiry. Club head speed is mainly mentioned when speaking of driving the golf ball. High club head speeds are 100 MHP+, moderate 85-99, and low would be considered below 85 MPH. Head speed will always be considered when determining shaft flex and usually ball selection. It is always great to be aware of your club head speed.

Don't worry, I'll answer your question for you. Most golf shops have equipment with which they can measure your club head speed, however they may attempt to sell you a shaft you don't need. The vast majority of people do just fine with the shaft that comes with the club.

Search for a Golfsmith or PGA Tour Superstore in your area. Golfsmith has hitting areas set up near the rear of their shops and the majority of the time no one bothers you at all. The PGA Tour Superstores usually have at least 8 perforance bays that you can try clubs out.

My company bought several doz. balls, they were kept in the store room. How long will these balls last? are they still good? its been around 8yrs. the company closed and I recieved several doz.

Jerry, the shelf life of the golf balls if stored in a climate controlled area is non existent. The balls will perform to the standards they were produced at the time. If you are playing an older golf ball you may notice differences from performance of newer balls but that is due to advances in technology not because the ball is "dead". Only storing balls out doors or in non controllable climates will you notice the balls only last around 2 years in most cases.
