Try them 7/4/2008
Handicap 20-30
Bought 2 2ball sample packs and let me tell you these are a great ball. The feel off the club face on all clubs is very consistent. Everything went straight for me which is rare. I will be using only these balls from now on. Go ahead , give 'em a try.

nike ignite balls are awesome they are so soft for a distance ball ( i don't believe that a ball can make you hit farther what makes you hit harder is putting more strength into it and still hitting it in the sweet spot) and they spin so much. they are great balls. the only technology in golf balls are the feel and spin rate. nike ignite balls have both

Handicap 10 - 15
A phenomenal ball. It's long, soft, and has excellent spin rates. The ball flight is a penetrating medium trajectory. At $25 a dozen, you can't go wrong.

The Ignite ball is no longer being made. What ball is replacing the Ignite? I would like to still play the same type of ball.

The talk is about club head speed; high, moderate and low. Just where does one go to determine club head speed and does this only apply to drivers?

Thank you for your inquiry. Club head speed is mainly mentioned when speaking of driving the golf ball. High club head speeds are 100 MHP+, moderate 85-99, and low would be considered below 85 MPH. Head speed will always be considered when determining shaft flex and usually ball selection. It is always great to be aware of your club head speed.

Don't worry, I'll answer your question for you. Most golf shops have equipment with which they can measure your club head speed, however they may attempt to sell you a shaft you don't need. The vast majority of people do just fine with the shaft that comes with the club.

Jerry, the shelf life of the golf balls if stored in climate controled area the is non existent. The balls will perform to the standards they were produced at the time. If you are playing an older golf ball you may notice differences from performance of newer balls but that is due to advances in technology not becuase the ball is "dead". Only storing balls out doors or in non controlable climates will you notice the balls only last around 2 years in most cases.
