I am 12 yrs old and had the thrill of a lifetime today. Sunday 8/16/08. I play Z-cat balls and scored a hole in one while playing a tourament. Needless to say I was the talk in the club hoyuse after. It happened on the 6th hole in Worthington Ma at the Worthington C.C. Do you have a display box or cirtifacate avail. Thanks for a great ball Jake

best beginers ball 6/1/2008
Handicap 10 - 15
My wife picked these up for me as a gift localy. On the inside I rolled my eyes , on the outside it was wow thanks. On a bad golf day when I was the kerplunk king I broke these shag balls out. What happend next was unbeliveable. Unexpected preformance nearly as good as a hx hot.better than a noodle. the downside is that the covers are really soft , so stay of the cart paths. Not my first ball of choice but still a great ball for youths on a budget.I nearly holed a 195 par 3 with my 5 wood useing this ball

X Cat Lover 5/1/2008
Handicap 30 +
These are the best balls ever. The Cats love to Hunt the green. They also avoid the water at all costs. We l know how Cats hate water. The only problem I had with them they were very liable to find "the litter-box." All you haters out there be sure to send them to me if you dont like the Cats!

Great!! 4/7/2008
Handicap 6 - 10
I first got these balls in a set of clubs made by the same company. Ever since then I always use Cougar. I have been able to stop slicing the ball and have added 20 yds. to my drive. They are easy off the irons and very controlable when chipping. The only thing is that they are slow on putting.

The talk is about club head speed; high, moderate and low. Just where does one go to determine club head speed and does this only apply to drivers?
A

Thank you for your inquiry. Club head speed is mainly mentioned when speaking of driving the golf ball. High club head speeds are 100 MHP+, moderate 85-99, and low would be considered below 85 MPH. Head speed will always be considered when determining shaft flex and usually ball selection. It is always great to be aware of your club head speed.

Don't worry, I'll answer your question for you. Most golf shops have equipment with which they can measure your club head speed, however they may attempt to sell you a shaft you don't need. The vast majority of people do just fine with the shaft that comes with the club.

Search for a Golfsmith or PGA Tour Superstore in your area. Golfsmith has hitting areas set up near the rear of their shops and the majority of the time no one bothers you at all. The PGA Tour Superstores usually have at least 8 perforance bays that you can try clubs out.

Jerry, the shelf life of the golf balls if stored in a climate controlled area is non existent. The balls will perform to the standards they were produced at the time. If you are playing an older golf ball you may notice differences from performance of newer balls but that is due to advances in technology not because the ball is "dead". Only storing balls out doors or in non controllable climates will you notice the balls only last around 2 years in most cases.

Is ID-Align aligned along 1) the center of balance, 2) the seam of two part cover, or 3) just a few dots on either side of initials?
A
05/04/2009 3:09 PMGolfballs.com Employee: Andy
Thank you for your question. The IDAlign service is centered in accordance to the logo of the manufacturer, in many cases the balls we print on are seamless. The are 6 different Golfballs.com ID-Align selections to choose from including arrows, lines, dots, or stars. For additional inquiries, please contact us at 1-800-372-2557. Thanks, Andy

Golf balls stored in a controlled climate, (not outside in the elements, not stored in a 100 degree temperature,)will lose ONE YARD per year. That means, obviously, if you store your golf balls for ten years they will lose only ten yards of carry. Most of us could never tell the difference until it reaches that ten year mark.
